Before next week's first season finale, the solid Noah Wyle series has ruined me for other medical dramas. (Yeah, I'm looking at you, 'Pulse' on Netflix)
So hard to watch at times but such brilliant acting - I think the benefit of the unknown actors is that you really are pulled into believing they are the real deal.
I had no idea Mel was played by Bryan Cranston’s daughter! You're so right about the fresh faces and mostly unknown (to me) cast. There is something so enjoyable about having no other characters associated with them. I also never watched ER so it was pretty much an entirely new set of faces to me.
Well, why you wait for S2 of THE PITT, watch the early seasons of ER. It was so well done and you'll see a much younger Noah Wyle. Plus, George Clooney!
Yes I might honestly it will be better than trying to watch PULSE 😂. I also started this one thinking it would be my new medical drama but the characters are so unlikeable compared to the Pitt. Ok ER is it then :D
The Pitt has been fabulous from moment one. Great story and so many interesting characters. Episodes go by so quickly which is a mark of good storytelling.
Right up there with my other favorite hospital dramas were St. Elsewhere and ER. The Emmys better get it right with The Pitt.

Agreed 100%!

Great -- let me know what you think of ER!

Agreed 100%, Mark!
Mark, you saw the St Elsewhere/Cheers crossover piece I did recently for the TV Academy, right? In case you didn't.....
