So impressed. I can’t get past the smell to eat it. And I have tried.

Oddly, now that I actually know I like it, the smell isn't as bad....it still smells like wet feet, don't get me wrong!

I love fruit (except cherries) and I have searched high and low in Indiana for durian with no luck. Does it taste like pear? Give me a fruit that durian is similar too, if that's possible.

Hmmmm...the texture is similar to mango but the taste isn't quite as sweet as pears or cherries. I honestly can't think of a fruit that tastes like it but if anything comes to me, I'll leave another comment! Thanks for the message, Cindy!

I give you credit for going for it because when we were in Bangkok, just the smell alone kept me away from the fruit stands. I know a lot of people like really stinky cheeses too, but I don’t, so I think I’ll pass.

I'll eat it for you, Sir! Oddly, it still stinks when I come across it but not as offensive now that I know I like the taste. Crazy thing, right?
