I feel like I've bounced back so many times, I should lead a double life as a ball. I believe the biggest key to going through what you've gone through (and what any journalist nowadays has probably gone through, myself included) is to not freak out. Also, hi Jim! Congrats on the move.

Looking forward to keeping up to date on your journey!

What do I do when a job unexpectedly ends? I usually spend the first two weeks panicking and setting up coffee dates and lunches and phone calls etc. Then I calm down and do a lot of nothing. And then when I least expect it, something pans out. And once one thing pans out suddenly one or two more do and suddenly I find myself incredibly busy.

Thanks, Karen! And, yeah, I have been good about not freaking out since things do eventually fall into place in some way. Not always what you think or how but it does work out. For now, enjoying the slower pace!
