How Next Level are Bangkok Cafes? Let's Explore Some of Our Favorites!
One of my favorite things to do in Bangkok is explore the many cafes so here are some of the jewels we've found living here.
When you think of Thailand you think of the glorious beaches, majestic temples and Buddhas galore and, of course, the food. I’ve experienced all of those things living here but I’ve also become a fan or the many cafes in the city of Bangkok.
Hanging out in cafes with friends for a meal and drinks or working away on my laptop while sipping away at a Oat Milk Latte are two of my favorite activities while living here and over the last year or so I’ve taken out my phone to capture some of the amazing places so I thought I’d put them all in a collection here.
First up, Boyd had visited the Joy of Life cafe and raved about it so much so we made the trip back to the Silom district and enjoyed this charming cafe where you can get a cup of your favorite drink but also end up leaving with some flowers! (The Joy of Life cafe details here)
There are a few cute coffee places in our Lat Phrao neighborhood of Bangkok but when Boyd and I walked into the T’IN CAFE, we were immediately in love. The food was great, drinks were delicious and the artsy vibe of the cafe was a big win for us. And if you love tea, they have a huge selection, too! (For more on the T’IN CAFE, visit here)
Hanging out with Boyd’s family, we ventured to the TAAM JAI Cafe in the Huai Khwang district and loved the huge outdoor patio area though we chose to eat inside given the heat on the day we visited. Besides the separate tea house which tea aficianados will not want to miss, there’s a neighboring complex that we also explored and looked great for a wedding reception or any other big group event. We’ve been talking about going back there so I’ll be sure to have my phone ready to capture more delicious food and drinks. (More info can be found here)
One of the first cafes we found when we moved to Bangkok was the Bluetamp Cafe, which we visited with Boyd’s cousin, Belle (who you’ll see in the video). I miss brunch so Bluetamp is a great spot for a delicious egg dish and a variety of coffees including a coffee flight to try some new flavors. And now rewatching this video, I realize we shot this awhile ago so it’s definitely time for a return visit! (More info here)
The one thing I know for sure when looking at all these videos again is that I have work to do because there are so many other cafes to explore in Bangkok. Stay tuned for a sequel to this post soon with even more amazing spots you’ll want to check out when you visit.
