Bangkok Cafes: Taam Jai Cafe
Come for the glorious temples, markets and glamorous shopping malls, stay for the amazing cafes!
In the midst of writing about TV as well as my own past as a television journalist and present living in Thailand and learning the Thai language, I’ve been neglecting one important part of this Substack page since it is called Coffee, TV and Me. So I’m fixing that right now with some space devoted to the fantastic cafes I’ve been finding in Bangkok.
Coffee and cafes are synonymous in my opinion so I wanted to share this gem that we tried a few weeks ago, the Taam Jai Cafe, located in the Huai Kwang area of Bangkok. Whether you like to sit outdoors or in the a/c filled indoors (I tend to choose the latter here in Bangkok), this charming spot won us over in a big way. In fact, Boyd and I enjoyed our visit so much on a recent Saturday, we went back the next day for another brunch. Moments from those visits are in the video below.
Remember when you’re booking your trip to Thailand, you balance out visits to the temples, markets and fancy malls with a few of the best cafes. I’ll be posting more of newest finds very soon.
Thanks again for all the support for Coffee, TV & Me. And please make sure to also LIKE and SUBSCRIBE our Travel with Jim & Boyd page on YouTube!
I love the video and seeing the views and what the Taam Jai Cafe has to offer. Now, I need to book a flight!
